Another test has gone by, just two more to go. I also have a lot of papers to do this month. Thankfully, only two of them are of any considerable length. Please pray that I get those two done before their due date. Aside from that, not much else to say academically. This weekend was "Fall Back", a sort of weekend of fun stuff that has nothing to do with DST. They had a street fair Friday, as well as Men's Open Dorms and two showings of Inception. That movie, by the way, is one of the best I've seen. I give it two thumbs up, and a monkey wrench. If you haven't seen it, you should.
Also, I'd like to start a discussion based on the following video.
Now, consider this video. Does any of this ring true? Do we just blast through prayer time at meals just to fill our gullies? Do we really take prayer seriously? Are we truly thankful for the food we eat?
Consider these questions with the video, post a comment in regards to that, then click the link at the end of this post. DO NOT CLICK THE LINK AT THE BOTTOM UNTIL YOU HAVE LEFT A COMMENT.

Just as a note, today is the first day of No-Shave November. October 31, everyone shaves, then let's it all grow out over the next month. Why? Because we can. I myself am participating in this.
Here's the first one. 17 hours after initial shave
Peace Y'all.

first off you got such a cute face.....
ReplyDeleteSecond off we still don't have h.s. so I will comment on prayer. Prayer should be from the heart at all times. I do admit that sometimes I pray because I have to when my heart doesn't want to because of sin. But afterwards when I realize what has just happened I give a heart full sorry to the Lord and then the burden is lifted and I can once again pray from the heart.
